Sales (part time)
Ron's first job at Bega Ag was customer deliveries on his pushbike from the old Co-op store & he's been here ever since! It just wouldn't seem the same without him. Ron helps out with sales on Monday mornings & Saturdays now.
Ron loves his bowls & having a chin wag with his mates over a beer. He’s also unfortunately a Sea Eagles supporter.
Gordon is a fitter & turner by trade and a particular whiz at welding stainless steel. He is also a great mechanic with terrific experience in all kinds of small engines; mowers, chainsaws, generators, diesel engines, etc. He has a fully equipped workshop at the back of the store which includes a hoist to take the pain out of getting under mowers.
Gordon spends as much time as he can in remote parts of our forests with his gold detector. Says he’d tell us where he goes - but then he’d have to kill us!
Mark does a marvelous job keeping our large yard in order – which isn’t easy with all the various equipment, vehicles, deliveries, tanks, semi-trailers etc coming in & out. He also blends & out loads fertiliser from our bulk facility and blends tonnes of pasture seed through the hectic autumn seed season.
Mark’s a bit of a rev head! - he loves tinkering with his vehicles.
David comes from Gippsland where he gained experience in a very sophisticated fertilizer market. He spends much of his time on farm helping customers put together effective strategies for growing the best possible pastures for our climate & soil types. He’s currently working on a list of the best scone & cake makers in the area. David also operates his own orchard near Bemboka, so he’s well versed on the challenges of our weather.
In his spare time – wait, he doesn’t have any spare time.
